I believe all of us will have a life changing experience at some point in our lives. I know that sounds a bit generalised, and of course we are bound to experience such things as; unemployement, death of a loved one, marriage, separation, and moving house to name but a few. However experience (so far) has shown me that a number of us go through life holding on to both the memories of bad times gone by, and a fear of what the future holds instore for us.

I know it was my own personal battle with anxiety and depression which led me to a point where I thought there was nothing left to do except suffer.  I tried numerous things to ease the symptoms laterly ending in medication and counselling. I believe it was this that gave me a moment of clarity, a small period of time during which I realised there had to be a way of easing these symptoms other than medication.

I'm still not entirely sure what lead me to finding my Reiki teacher Margaret Craig, but whatever it was, it was a powerful guide that has brought me to where I am now. I have exerienced a number of highs and lows but I can honestly say I've never felt more at "peace" than I do now, and I owe a great debt of gratitude to Margaret and the power of Reiki for where I am now in my life. Margaret has now taught me to Master/Teacher level although I still have much more to learn. It is only now that I have discovered that this is a long road, along which I will face many challenges but gain so many new experiences.

Reiki is one of those things that really cannot be explained properly. I can try and give some history, and some background on the founder Mikao Usui. I can even try and explain the origins of this method of self-healing now called Reiki. However, this won't tell you what it actually feels like to have a Reiki treatment, or to be attuned to this beautiful universal energy. To experience that, you really should treat yourself to a Reiki session.

On a personal note, I'd like to thank you for visiting this site and hope that it has been of some use to you. I always appreciate feedback and comments on this site, and I look forward to helping answer any questions you may have relating to Reiki or to obtaining a treatment.

Best Wishes
Kev.
